Typed WordPress clients

Gutenbridge

Generate a typed client for your WordPress site

With Pro and Agency, the CLI inspects supported WordPress and WooCommerce API routes and schemas on your machine to generate a site-specific client. Free gives you a generic, read-only WordPress Core starter.

From your site to your app

A local workflow with your WordPress site as the runtime backend.

  1. 1. Set up

Run the Gutenbridge CLI in your project.

  2. 2. Generate

Build a generic Free starter or a site-specific paid client.

  3. 3. Connect

The generated client talks directly to WordPress.

A clear V1 boundary

What Gutenbridge supports

Paid site-specific generation uses supported registered routes and schema evidence available from your site. A route existing in WordPress does not automatically make it supported.

WordPress Core

Core REST resources, plus REST-enabled custom post types and taxonomies registered by your site.

WooCommerce

WooCommerce core REST API and Store API resources.

REST-visible ACF

Site-specific fields exposed through supported WordPress REST schemas, on Agency.

Clear exclusions

Arbitrary third-party plugin APIs and separate ACF routes are outside the V1 support surface.

Free includes a generic, read-only WordPress Core starter. Pro and Agency provide site-specific generation for their supported modules.

Your site stays in charge

Gutenbridge creates your client; it does not sit between your application and WordPress. At runtime, requests from the generated client go directly to your WordPress site.
